I recall his prices were high and he was not open at night which is when
the action in the village is.  I prefer Bleeker St. Records where they
have a bargain basement which is presided over by a rather fat cat.

Another legendary record store bites the dust. As a West Coaster, I was
only in there a few times - actually found an Ernest Tubb EP there in
1978, which was my only purchase. Guess I didn't buy enough...
