Taylor,

I get where you're coming from, and yes I too have an emotional reaction to
some of the Miller sides from the civilian band. Some of the ballads as
arranged by Bill Finegan are really beautiful. One arranger who is rarely
associated with Miller was George "The Fox" Williams, who also wrote some
gorgeous ballads as well as swinging sides.

Yes, Ray Anthony is still very much with us. Thank you for reminding me.
