Sutton-Nauck, ARLC p.75, says that Obie's Elite label
used the World studios for W-prefixed masters.
Björn Englund, in remarks on Obie's recordings during
the ban, to appear in the next Names & Numbers mag.,
says:
"In January 1944 Oberstein bought the Reeves studios
in New York...had an R matrix series"
(maybe from Billboard, which has a lot on Obie?).
But where did Majestic make its recordings?

>>> Are you sure about World and Reeves? Don Gabor used Reeves at Continental,
don't know about Oberstein. And World was owned by Decca from some time in
early 1943.
