[78-L] 78s in cold temps

Tapes have held up just fine, even acetate based. I'm not sure if I've ever
left paper tapes in cold storage.

Plovdiv sounds like a town only Sholem Aleichem could have created (aleichem
sholom).

Granted, two walls of this garage abut the house so there may be some heat coming from that. Starting last winter I am storing 10s of thousands of records in two unheated storage units which don't abut any warm areas so I certainly hope there's no ill effects. I make it a practice not to bring any records in from the cold during the winter and I have one heated storage unit so if records need to be stored in the winter, I'll take them there first and move them to the outdoor units when it warms up. I didn't hold much hope for the tapes but I took some in to play them recently and they played very well.
