[78-L] Do 78 rmp records deteriorate in cold temperatures? Hurricane Sandy created a terrible problem.

John was heard from, about ten days after the disaster..took a while to get
powered up again.
Moisture not good, cold OK. I've stored records in unheated garages for over 20
years with nary a problem.
