Cycling of temperatures from hot to cold repeatedly can cause problems
but not anywhere as much as too much humidity.  But cold inhibits the
mould growth so it might be ok.  Hot and humid is much worse.

Speaking of Sandy, has anyone heard from John Leifert who lives out on
Statan Island?

I think the can stand very low temperatures as long there is on physical
stress placed on them ( and no sudden heating up).... -20/25 Celsius
(what's
that in Fahrenheit..? ) I think is no problem...
