Thanks for this detailed answer, always a pleasure to read you!
You can still have good surprises in flea markets here in France. There are
three specialized shop in Paris, the best one being "La Phonogalerie" a
must-seen in Montmartre area : http://www.phonogalerie.com/lang-francais/
Of course, internet and auction lists remain the best way to find exactly
the records you want. But if I have the chance to visit the USA, I wish I
can see an "authentic" american record store !
