[78-L] Melchior's first name

I once heard an interview with Dorati where he spoke about the correct pronunciation of his name. He said something to the effect that he was Hungarian and not Irish so it shouldn't be Door-a - tee, rather it should be as David Lennick states below.

Both Mantovani and Antal Dorati let their own names be mispronounced. Mantovani 
even mispronounced it himself (MAN-toe-VAH-nee instead of MAHN-to-vah-nee). 
Dorati should have been pronounced DOR-ah-tee in the proper Hungarian style.

Nobody knows nuttin'.
