[78-L] Acme 78 rpm recods of the Cartet Family

I have seven E condition Acme 78rpm records, by the Carter Family. To me the genre, is Christian Gospel. Can someone tell me more how, this records came about, and how many recordings were made by the Carter Family in this label, and is it rare or have any value.
