Two things.
First 78 purchased, probably 1955 or so, Ernie Freeman's "Jivin' Around,"
on Cash. later it "disappeared" when loaned, and took years to find it
again.
Second, remember learning jukebox stock could be purchase for 15 cents a
record? Even less, sometimes. As the 78s phased out, 78 rpm jukebox stock
became a regular weekend stop for records. I found King label with both
country and R&B records and that got me hooked on early country. Was
already an R&B fan.
