[78-L] whats the best way to clean the lazer in a cd player

Note that CDs in the car somehow have a tendency to get scratched no
matter how careful you are with them. At least that's my experience
(with CDRs).
Sometimes cleaning helps. Sometimes I think over modulated or close to
0VU signals can do that sound that you describe.
Another thing I've noticed is that my CD player is not nearly as loud as
my radio, so I must be careful switching from CD to radio or I get an
earful. Inconvenient...
