It appears that the acoustical side, too, was dubbed on that bastardized version, as the grooves don't measure the same from the first groove to the start of the runout.

I see that the HMV edition has a weird set of codes in the runout area.  Where the take number "8" appears, there is the addition of "RH" and a couple of illegible letters or symbols.  On the  opposite side of the label appear the figures 14, 15, and 17. So maybe the US pressing Mike refers to is related to this English issue.
