[78-L] orphan 78 labels

It's not just the recording, it also is the song.  You mention that some 
records mention BMI.  BMI is an organization which collects the public 
performance royalties for the SONG PUBLISHER and composers.  No matter 
what ownership there is for the recording, mechanical permissions need 
to be obtained for the songs.
