[78-L] orphan 78 labels

I need advice on creating a cd for sale using orphan label 78s.  It is for
a museum exhibition to be sold through the museum.

We are trying to get permissions from the labels we know are still owned
but there are many that appear to not be owned and some have been used on
cds with no credit given.

Some are BMI and some aren't.  What do I need to watch out for? Any help
would be appreciated.
