[78-L] Songs about records, especially 78 rpm records?

Thanks, Ray - I've contemplated using some on my own shows over the years, some yes,some no.

Re: Penny Serenade - I think I may have lapsed into my memory of it being used in a period film - they played the song on a late 30's phono for the scenes in which the tune was used.  The film buffs will know but probably not worth the effort.

Good list Rodger.  Yes, PENNY SERENADE was by Sammy Kaye.  Also Guy 
Lombardo, Horace Heidt, Dick Todd, Dick Robertson, Dick Jurgens, Nat 
Gonella, and Lew Stone.
But nothing about "records" in the lyrics.  I think the serenading is done 
by singing.
