If you can't make furriners understand what you're saying then
gesticulate. If that doesn't work then we can only assume that they
don't want to make the effort. I suppose we shouldn't be too hard on
them, after all they can't help being born that way. They probably don't
realise they are furriners--I doubt if they wake up each morning
thinking "Oh no, I'm still a furriner!" We can only feel sympathy for them.
