Does anyone have approximate dating information for Columbia's custom recording matrix numbers (LP)? Generally in a block below 30000 (starting at 15000???) sometime in the early 50s. For example, I'm looking at a Calypso album cut for Island Artists Ltd. with matrix numbers XTV 27499/500. This probably dates from around 1956. dl
