[78-L] Windstorm took down 78-L overnight

Given the lousy quality of most cell phones, has any 21st century Cohen done a 21st century version of this great comedy classic based on poor sound quality in communication?  It fairly begs for one.

The 78-L list was down overnight,  we had a big snowstorm and windstorm in
Oregon and Washingto. The 80 to 100 MPH winds took out a lot of power.
Our battery backups ran down after a few hours.  Everything is back up
now.
