Thanks for correction; I haven'r heard the H&J for longer than I care to think about, and then only on radio.  Would LOVE to hear Mickey Katz - MP3 or cassette possible? Or youtube?

I have that record, and the Mickey Katz, Patti Page, and Lita Rosa, all from 
1953.
Plus the 1963 version by Baby Jane and the Rockabyes, I'm proud to say.

if I remember correctly (I don't have a copy of the record) it's

****My version, egregiously misremembered, doesn't rhyme, but I've always thought that was part of its charm
