Minimal 78RPM connection, unless the "Belles of St. Trinians" theme appeared on 
a Rank Film Music disc in the early 50s, but I see one of my favourite 
cartoonists has died, age 91.

And the Toronto Star reported the story, but used a file photo of another Ron 
Searle, former mayor of the city of Mississauga, who is alive and well at 92 
and is a bit surprised (but he knew who the cartoonist was..those of you in 
Southern Ontario will be gratified that there are SOME politicos who know 
literary figures when they see them).
