[78-L] Ann Sothern test

[Michael Biel]

Of course the "original brown Decca sleeve" he has with this record is
post-war and has absolutely nothing to do with this record.  Are we even
sure it is a Decca product?

Even before the radio station previews, there were "exploitation
records" 
dating from the late 20s, to be played in theater lobbies. I had one
similar to 
Taylor's, with abruptly faded excerpts from Rudy Vallee records.
