Did we ever determine what the E in a diamond on 1940s-50s Hollywood recordings signifies? Is it Electro-Vox or something else? This turns up on Tempo and a number of other labels. (No it doesn't turn up on the labels, dummy, it turns up in the dead wax.) dl
