[78-L] You know you can't stop collecting 78s when..

I parked my car in my garage -- once! I arrived at my new house for the
first time on the morning of the start of the 1978 blizzard. I thought
it was great -- for the first time I wouldn't have to clean the snow off
the car. However I forgot I had a 60 foot driveway which would have to
be shoveled, and since it was uphill to get out, it would have to be
shoveled very well. And then I discovered that the J-shaped driveway
required that part of the LAWN would have to be shoveled to allow the
car's overhang to clear.

From then on I parked at the TOP of the driveway right by the street.
Clear the car, shovel a foot or two to get to the street, and use the
garage for books. And last year I widened the front walk so I could
drive right up to the front door. Very helpful in unloading the car and
recuperating from my operation.

But what other option do you have when the records are worth more than
the car or the new garage you need to hold them in? AND you can buy them
for 'pennies on the dollar' of what they are 'worth.'

Or you decide to park your car in the street so it won't crowd the
records
in the garage......

... or you have no room left in the basement yet you agree to buy 8000
more
records from someone because it's just too good to pass up.
