Calypso singer Atilla the Hun (Raymond Quevedo) served in local and national
office in Trinidad and Tobago.
Tennessee Governor Alf Taylor had a single record issued on Victor with a
quartet, but it seems his fiddle "trial recordings" went unissued. I have
never heard these sides, so I'm not sure of their quality. He and his
brother both fiddled in their campaigns.
Fiddler Henry C. Gilliland was city clerk and justice of the peace of Altus,
Oklahoma Territory. He famously fiddled for Victor with Eck Robertson.
