While we're (sort of) on the subject, what was the ultimate corporate fate of
he smaller
merican labels of the 1900s-1930s? Not all of them seem to have been absorbed
nto
RC. Do we know who owns the Grey Gull, Lyric, Arto, Federal, Hit of the Week
nd
rown catalogues?

merson, it seems, was purchased by the Scranton Button Company in 1924.
cranton
as acquired by Capitol in 1946, which put it in the EMI column from 1955 and
ow in
he Universal column.

oes George H. Buck still own the NYRL/Paramount masters?
