We just watched Episode 1. EXCELLENT quality. Running time, 52 1/2 minutes. No
hiss, no jumpy images, no faulty synchronization. No commercials, but the "Old
Dutch" and "Beads of Bleach" images were on screen at the bottom left, all
through the closing credits..which went right to the original end, a CBS logo.
If these be bootlegs, they be booted from a prime source..maybe the
commercially issued DVDs for the first volumes. If you find these sets
anywhere, buy 'em..if you find volumes 3 & 4, let me know.
Not OT. Bill Hopper's old man made 78s. (Did Ray Collins?)
(Funny to see one scene where Burr asks questions while standing against a
plain white background, which obviously doesn't match anything else in the
scene including the dialogue shot in profile.)
