I'm with Andrea when it comes to Rosemary Clooney. I remember watching her on television when I was still a child and thinking she was something special. I think her 1955 recording of "Sophisticated Lady" with the Duke Ellington Orchestra is stunningly good. Her later in life albums on the Concord Jazz label are consistently good. I only wish I had the good fortune of Andrea to actually meet her.
