[78-L] HMV 216000 series questions

Interesting. Apparently Moogk did not know the exact contents of 216587-89,
and did not expect that these were medleys.
Possibly he only knew the 6 titles on 587 (as cited by David) and distributed these over the 3
subsequent issues 587-589.
This explains Cradle/Garden on 588 & Voyageur/Mountain on 589.
Can it be confirmed that Moogk lists only Canoe Song / Old Time Christmas for 587 ?!

Remains the question: what is on 216588-A ?
Is Moogk right for the next issue, 216590 ?

I like listings, but you always have to inspect the records....

>>> I think the highest number is 216611, Band of H. M. Canadian Grenadier Guards,
Vive le Canadienne/Jock O' York (216609/11 are by them).

I have 2 of the Frances James discs. 2 or 3 titles per side as follows:

216587A: Northland Songs: Canoe Song/Cradle Song/In the Garden I Love
216587B: Northland Songs: Voyageur Song/Mountain Stream/Old Time Christmas

216589A: The Mermaid/The Meeting of the Waters
216589B: Golden Slumbers/Busy Bee
