[78-L] Early record sleeves (was: record cabinet?)

.
When I lived in Paris in the late 1970s, there was a 78s dealer in my Montmartre neighborhood
who had an original cardboard mailing box full of French Berliners in what I think were their
original sleeves.

The box was 'generic' with some company address stamp for the sender, as I remember.
The records were ALL by the Garde Républicaine - therefore of no musical interest to me,
although I was tempted to buy a couple only for the sleeves.

These sleeves were, of course, the size of the 7" records, had no hole on either side, but a
rather large flap that went down about 2 inches or maybe more. The paper was rather sturdy and
had a somehow treated, semi-glossy surface on the outside.

I also have some early plain sleeves for some Turkish 7.5" ODEON International Talking Machine Co.
records. I presume that they are original, too, because of the look and feel of the paper and
the provenance of the discs (from an early mailing box, too).
