[78-L] Folded Decca album

Han - I have this same album in the same format.  Since there have been others of this format by Decca I presume this is way this set was sold.

Instead of a cover containing 3 separate envelopes, the album is folded twice.
Is this usual for this set, or was it a later cheap production.
Where did Decca put the booklets (in a sleeve?).
