[78-L] New Duke Ellington Concert, shameless plugeroonie

Just listening to the new HEP 2-CD set, Duke Ellington at the Crystal Gardens, 
Salem Oregon, 1952. What..you haven't heard about this release or this concert, 
which has been issued only in bits and pieces previously? Never fear, it's on 
its way through Amazon and other purveyors. Nice restoration by Alan Bunting, 
working from two sources (a set of lacquer discs I picked up a few years ago 
and a tape courtesy of Garth Miller), extensive notes by former 78-eller Andrew 
Homzy. Run, don't walk, to your nearest record store..oh wait a minute, what's 
a record store?

According to a couple of sources, it'll be available generally early in September.
