[78-L] 78 rpm opera collection offering

It's been weeks since I accessed 78-L because I've been busy with two large jazz collections of LPs and CDs: one of a deceased friend that had to be moved out of an apartment in lower Manhattan and the other of a long-time older friend, long divorced and living alone, aelf-employed.  The latter became increasingly frail and was no longer able to live alone.  The choice he made was to move from suburban New York City to live with his daughter in Austin.  While my friend recovered from surgery, it was up to his son to make several trips from the Washington DC area, over five hours away with light traffic, to pack personal belongings, including over 3000 CDs for transport to Texas.  Some 1700 LPs were sorted into those of little or no value -- which would be donated -- and those that could be sold either on ebay or record shows.  Some of the latter were moved to my garage, but most were moved to a rented self-storage facility along with some electronic components that my friend didn't want in Texas.  The components include a laser disc player, CD recorder, VHS recorder, Technics turntable, Sony SS-U6033 speakers, etc. While those items are available for sale, along with some laser discs and VHS tapes, the main reason for this posting is to advise that, unrelated to the above, I have for sale over 900 78s mostly opera, although some orchestral and soloist instrumentals.  They date from pre-1910 thru 1940s and include some foreign issues such as HMV (mostly English), and English & Italian Columbia.  Most of the records are singles, although there are a small quantity of sets, primarily Italian & English issues.  Most are boxed, but many in albums.
