Not a regular contributor to this list, but felt compelled to share this sad bit of news with respect to Cowboy Jack Clement, Sun studio engineer who discovered Jerry Lee Lewis (among many other things). He lost his home and studio in a fire on Saturday. He managed to save his 3 cats and his prized J-200 guitar that bore scratches on the back from Elvis' belt buckle. But everything else was burnt to a crisp! Don't know about 78s, but the house was full of music memorabilia, instruments and reel-to-reel masters of Johnny Cash, John Prine and Louis Armstrong. Following article from Tennessean with pic of Jack sitting in his Elvis-print pajamas as he gazes incredulous while firefighters put out the last of the flames. http://www.tennessean.com/article/20110626/NEWS/306260076/Fire-chars-Cowboy-Jack-Clement-s-home<http://www.tennessean.com/article/20110626/NEWS/306260076/Fire-chars-Cowboy-Jack-Clement-s-home>

My heart goes out to him; but Cowboy will ABIDE!
