  A follow-up on previous inquiry:

I've obtained a copy of JAY 3011 RUTH ETTING SINGS AGAIN, with a jacket.
This is the album suppressed by Columbia.
The jacket contains, in addition to notes by "Manuel Tarshish", a list of
the JAY releases:

2001 W.C.Fields - Temperance lecture, etc.
3001 MABEL LUCE - Latin American Folk Songs
3002 JOHN McCORMACK - Irish Songs
3003 NORMAN McKAYE - Robert Burns Scotch Ballads
3004 EDUCATIONAL - Great Music for All Ages
4005 INTERNATIONAL POLKA FAVORITES
3006 THE ORIGINAL MEMPHIS FIVE
3007 JOHN McCORMACK - Sings Love Songs
3008 THE BEST OF DJANGO REINHARDT
3009 TALBOT BROTHERS - Calypsos and Other Favorites
3010 ETHEL WATERS - Singing Her Best

  Interesting range of material!!!

Also answers the question of whether there was a 3001.
Note: the POLKA album is listed as 4005 (not MY typo) in the 3000
sequence - so assume there is NOT a 3005 ????

Any insights on the catalog numbering? Strange to have a "2000" series (1
record), then have a "4000" item within the 3000
series....

Here are the other albums previously noted:

3012 Concert Recital of Django Reinhardt 1954
3013 Gwilym Williams sings Welsh folk songs

Anyone have any other additions, updates, corrections????

Anyone have any other albums with release list, or catalogs, adverts,
schwann et.al. listings??
  Thanks!

Best wishes, Thomas.
