This reads too sadly frantic to be a put on; in the words of H .G. Wells, a "mind at the end of its tether".  Trying to be conscientious and having few internal resources left upon which to draw.  I can actually empathize with that woman's nerve-wracked psyche and trying desperately to be courteous and professional besides.  I hope they're both all right and that your items arrive expeditiously and safely. PC
