Since I'm still on my return drive and not near my records, I looked up a favourite Ted Lewis record, "Everybody Step", backed with "Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes" from 1922. In the title index, there was no listing for "Everybody Step" and the listing for the other song didn't correspond to any page for Ted Lewis, (I was only looking at the 5th volume which covered T to Z). Just as I was about to protest this omission, I looked up the appropriate volume and checked all of 1922 and then 1921, finding the record amongst listings for October 1921. So while the content of the guide may be complete, it's surprising that the index did not have this listing - as I said, the only title I looked up.

Strange, my copy lists both titles as being on page 2334. It does list
two tunes called

"Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes" and "Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes (Down In Tennessee)". Are you querying the date?
