Unlucky.  Have no experiences of that on the Empire Corridor trains.

I'll never like or even see an advantage in flying if I have any other possible alternatives -- even canoe.  And I fly quite a bit. I still want the industry to flop over dead.

Typically sewer gas and rotted food combined with stale sweat and smelly feet. Quite a cocktail. European trains don't seem to have that problem as much, for some reason...and those folks are supposed to less fond of deodorants, so go figure.

Admittedly airplanes are awful in their own way, but at least it's over faster, and you go more miles per hours suffered.
