Climax was the earliest name Columbia discs were released under, in 1901.
American Graphophone teamed up with a company called Burt who made molded
products; they started a company called Globe Record Co which recorded and
manufactured the discs which were sold under the Climax name (which very
soon was changed to Columbia).
