[78-L] Leroy Shield

[Cary Ginell]

One of the pieces in the repertoire of the ragtime orchestra I lead is "The Farm & Home March," which Shield wrote in 1940 for WLS' "Farm & Home Hour." It's a peppy little march, complete with a final strain piccolo obbligato (which I play) that sounds very Sousa-like.
