[78-L] Violet Day on Broadway c.1929 - aka Vaughn DeLeath??

Can't seem to find out anything about Violet Day, credited with singing Moanin Low and Meloncholy on Broadway label 1318.  Someone suggested that might be a psuedonym for Vaughn DeLeath.  You can listen to the recording on YT at:

The record is pretty battered but is that Vaughn singing?
