[78-L] Question 1812 Overture in 1903

During all of this discussion in the back of my mind was the image of
the 1812 Overture on a 14-inch DeLuxe Special Victor in Fred Williams'
collection. I WAS RIGHT! Here it is in Fagen and Moran Vol One.
41008, remake of pre-matrix 2017 by the Victor Grand Concert Band. Now
the trick is to find my tape of Fred's Berliners where I finished the
evening with just a few of his 14-inchers, and see if I was smart enough
to have dubbed THIS one thirty five years ago.

So would this 1903 recording be the first? It would probably run six
minutes.

I have a sneaking feeling I also have that red Vocalion 12", it might be by the Scots Guards. The strange thing about it is the incomprehensible cutting which garbles the piece, although they give it 2 sides. The Columbia is quite sensibly cut and still coheres.
