Brown & Wills recorded together as the Fort Worth Doughboys for Victor on 2/9/32. This disc was issued on Victor, Bluebird and Montgomery Ward, in addition to Sunrise and Electradisk.

When Brown started his own band, his first two sessions (4/4/34 and 8/8/34)) were recorded for Victor as well, but released on Bluebird, with six of the issues on Monkey Ward.

Wills didn't record until 9/23/35 and stayed with Columbia/Brunswick until 1947.
