Could it be a Tex Beneke recording?

Any Glenn Miller experts on the list?
There's a 3'50 recording of "Glen Island Special" featured on some of
the recent Miller compilations, which obviously is not by the original
orchestra (all studio and live recordings I've heard with the original
orchestra are about 3'00 - Eddie Durham's chart was a fast one).

Here's a clip from one of the compilations ("25 Swingin' Hits")
http://www.amazon.co.uk/25-Swingin-Hits/dp/B002SYK9K2

where the recording has a typical post 1940's studio sound - but the
same recording is also available with a big concert hall echo, probably
imitating a live recording (available as sound clip on i-tunes: album:
"Glenn Miller Orchestra", time 3'49).
Both these albums include original recordings as well.
None of the CD's listed on the present "ghost band"'s website feature
"Glen Island Special".
Anyone knows where and when this is from?
Kristjan
