That's interesting.What I have on Everest is of Artie Shaw from 1945-46 and a
couple of others I can't
recall.I think I had a Charlie Parker on the label.I first heard George Shearing
back in 1974 when I bo-
ught a few MGM 45s for a dime each at the Sunset Automatic Music Company in Coos
Bay,Oregon.
They were in like new condition.They were all extended play 45s.

Surprising, because I turn up Shearing's London 78s everywhere. There was also
an LP issue on Everest's Archive of Folk & Jazz series (in fake stereo of
course).
