Just to put this into perspective, I believe Mel Blanc's voice was sped up 20% 
to create Daffy Duck. There's such a thing as TIMBRE, people.

That said, I think we're pretty sure that the Cowboy Church Sunday School's 
records were all mastered at 33 and played back at 45 to create the little girl 
sound. And then there's Elsa Popping and her Pixieland Band.

I don't need a drink, I need a nice pastrameleh sandwich. And that's what I'm 
gonna have.
