I should have pointed out that the record may have been released in 1915 for the US market but it was likely reissued. When it was originally recorded I don't know.

My understanding of Pathe is that this would be outside start and from 1915. I don't have any Pathe catalogs to confirm the month it was released.
If you have interest in these I recommend "Pathe Records and Phonographs in America, 1914-1922" by George Copeland and Ronald Dethlefson. I believe Ron still sells it through his website.

I have just acquired my first 14" Pathe, Daughter of the Regiment played
by the Republican Guard Band of France on 70043. Paper label, and
although I haven't played it yet, I am reasonably certain that it is out
side start.
About when would this record have been recorded/made?
Thanks
Joe Salerno
