[78-L] Last Night's Boardwalk Empire

I suppose it would be good if the folks at Syracuse knew one of their issues was being used, if so; they have had so little feedback or acknowledgement of the CD that further archival issues are at a standstill. What minimal feedback they've had has been positive, but a lot of work went into that CD and they deserve a bit more. (Their marketing and publicity has not been of the best, I admit.) I also noticed that on the _BE_ playlist there was a "buy" option, but no other crediting as to sources, as is usually found in motion picture closing credits. Doing that might do everyone's heart good, as well as acknowledging Vince's role in some way. PC

Just that I'm sure Vince would have recommendations or the actual recordings,
and he's already on board with his orchestra.

My wonder is that both of those are on the CD and the Weber is a fairly rare cylinder (a wax Amberol) -- also UCSB's transfer of it is not as good as ours, and ours is not in a compressed format. Haven't seen the show as we don't take premium services. Just moderately idle curiosity. PC
