I sell (and mostly buy) 78rpm opera records on Ebay.
I see that only long time seller out of Ebay can reach high prices.
All those seller who make a list and send to his buyer can sell records
at top prices.
On Ebay you can't..!!!

It's kind of ironic. Like antique-y dealers who ask hundreds of $$$ for
common Caruso late vintage Red Seals, but would think Berliners to be
children's records and let the go for a coupla bucks each.
Except this guy has taken it to an extreme. Makes me wonder about some
of the dealers on ebay, are they really expecting to make that much $$$
on a single item? Doing a little research, which might be too much work
for them, might turn up a more realistic figure. They might make some
cash. I'd give a reasonable price for it. Cash in hand is worth a bunch
in the bush....
