[78-L] Mimosa and Little Marvel

Hello,
 
As a child I remember these smaller labels on sale in the Woolworth chain stores.
 
I seem to recall some data on them discussed within the pages of the late Ernie Bayly's magazine, also the City of London Phonograph and Gramophone Society's magazine, 'For the Record' (both UK based).

Would someone be so kind as to shed some light on these for me?  Also, there were some 7" Victory discs, which seem to date to about 1930.

I really don't know where to begin to seek information about these.
