So you are saying that surface noise may resemble the sound of blood 
coursing thru vessels? I never thought of this but you may be on to 
something. Vessel noise would be lower frequency I assume, not as 
pronounced as a good 78 at the outer edge. More like an overly filtered 
transfer.
